Vernon representatives attending conference

Vernon is promoting itself to the world.

City representatives will be part of the Okanagan Valley Economic Development Society’s booth at the annual International Council of Shopping Centers conference in Whistler from today to Tuesday.

“The conference brings together developers, site selectors, retailers, property owners and realtors to discuss commercial development opportunities in Western Canada,” said Kevin Poole, Vernon’s economic development manager.

Poole says that his main focus at the conference will be promoting commercial development opportunities in the community.
