There’s a new way to get around the Okanagan.
The Tesla Model S, a 100 per cent battery powered, electric vehicle, can be rented through Power Trips.
“We offer something very unique in the Okanagan Valley, an experience that is luxurious and exhilarating, yet environment friendly,” said owner Ryan Silverthorn.
“After having noticed an increased interest in Tesla vehicles here in the valley, we wanted to have the cars and SUVs available for anyone to drive.”
Power Trips will deliver rentals cars from Salmon Arm to Penticton.
Currently, Power Trips offers the Tesla Model S, which goes from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in four seconds.
“It is also the longest range electrical vehicle on the market, so you can enjoy the day not having to worry about charging the rental,” said Silverthorn.
Power Trips will also be adding a Tesla Model X SUV to the fleet.
