Sally Ann initiates clothing drive

The Salvation Army’s Blue-Bag-It program takes place at the Village Green Mall from Monday to Jan. 29 29 in an effort to recycle clothing.

The public is invited to pick up Blue-Bag-It bags from the mall display and sponsoring merchants, fill them with good clothing and return the bags to the mall or to the thrift stores at 4402 27th St. and 3102 29th Ave.

“The program has been running at the Village Green Mall since 1994,” said David MacBain, community ministries director.
