Skiers have Bond in new manager
A familiar face on the ski scene is taking up new duties.
Glenn Bond is the new manager of club and guest services at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre, as well as director of early season cross-country ski camps.
“We are happy to welcome Glenn to the team, as we feel that he brings knowledge, experience and passion that are a perfect fit for us,” said Scott Lemon, Sovereign Lake general manager.
“He is taking on a dual role as the Manager of Club and Guest Services and will also be Director of Sovereign’s early season cross country ski camps.”
Bond was the longtime nordic manager at Silver Star Mountain Resort.
“I am very excited to be working at the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, and to contribute to their commitment to nordic skiing,” said Bond.
Bond’s additional responsibilities at Sovereign Lake will include managing, group/team sales, sponsorship/fundraising and an accommodation referral program with the Bulldog Hotel and Silver Star Accommodation.
