Lumby Golf Club marks 50th anniversary

The Lumby Golf Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and will be holding a celebration Saturday.

All members, past members and friends of the Lumby Golf Club are invited to attend.

Throughout the day there will be golfing, chipping contests, putting contests, bocce games and more, as well as a lunch.

Registration for golf is at 9:30 a.m. with golf starting at 10. Lunch will be at approximately 1 p.m. There will also be lots of prizes and draws happening all day as well as a souvenir for those attending.

Come out for a day of fun, have a game of golf or just visit with old friends and bring your lawn chair!

The cost for the day is $10 per person with everything included.

The Lumby Golf Club has been in operation for 50 years and is still run by volunteers and this year has a membership of approximately 30 members.
