Ghouls converge on Enderby trail

Zombies, ghosts and ghouls will be stalking Enderby on Halloween night for the second annual Riverwalk Haunted Trail.

The event, which starts and ends at the Enderby Lions Club gazebo in Riverside Park Monday, features 10 different haunted houses along Enderby’s Riverfront trail.

“We held this event last year and this time it’s even bigger,” said Enderby Lions Club member Peter Gilowski.

Sponsored by the Lions, along with the Enderby Fire Department, the chamber of commerce and the Enderby Credit Union, the haunted houses are being staged by different groups.

The groups include the graduating class from A.L. Fortune Secondary School, and the houses will have spooky features such as fog machines, lights and, of course, the aforementioned spooks, ghouls and zombies.

“We’ll also have hot dogs, hot chocolate, and a bonfire at the gazebo, and kids can get their treats after the haunted house trail,” said Gilowski.

The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

For more information, contact Gilowski at 250-558-8060.
