Glass collection sites limited

The public is advised that the Regional District of North Okanagan is removing glass collection bins May 27.

The bins will be removed from the Enderby Bottle Depot, Armstrong Bottle Depot and Chasers Bottle Depot in Vernon.

RDNO will continue to accept glass bottles and jars at each of its landfills and transfer stations.

Under the new Multi Material B.C. program, glass can be dropped off at Interior Freight and Bottle Depot and Venture Training Centre, both in Vernon.

For more information about the new MMBC recycling programs go to www.recyclinginbc.ca.
