Greater Vernon residents can see Canada like they’ve never seen it before Sunday.

Horizon is a 20-minute film that places viewers in the centre of the action during a showcase of Canadian creative expression that unfolds from coast to coast to coast.

Showings will be held every 30 minutes starting at 9 a.m., with the final showing at 4:30 p.m. at the Vernon Recreation Complex.

Horizon takes its audience on a revealing expedition from the highest peaks to the deepest seas, and through all ten provinces and three territories. Drawing upon artistic inspiration from across our country’s rich cultural mosaic, the film features traditional and contemporary creative works set in the unforgettable urban and natural landscapes of our diverse nation,” said Mike Knights, recreation programmer.

The inflatable dome theatre can accommodate up to 30 viewers at a time. Viewing the film is free of charge and on a first come, first served basis.
