A new festival is taking to the stage in Lumby.
The Lumby Art and Music Festival runs from Aug. 11 to 13, and it will include performances and artists.
“There will be a benefit to the community,” said organizer Agatha Cassidy.
The White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee has provided $3,000 in sponsorship.
“They have put a lot of work into it and it will support culture in the community,” said Rick Fairbairn, WVPRCAC chairperson.
Among the entertainers will be Blackberry Wood, Angela Thrift, Joshua Smith, Hillbillies, Bubble Wonders and Superstar Dance.
