H.O.P.E. Outreach is a night time outreach program, dedicated to serving women, living on the streets who are homeless, addicted or exploited.

The program is in the process of expanding to Vernon and needs female volunteers who have a passion to help others and who are interested in making a difference in the lives of women who have nowhere else to turn, due to lack of services and funding.

Full training on outreach practices and Narcan training will be provided to qualified volunteers.

This program has had a tremendous success rate in Kelowna, and is now expanding to the North Okanagan, where it will provide help to women who are living in unsafe street environments and will offer alternatives to their current situation.

An information session for anyone interested in volunteering with the program and helping to change lives will take place Sunday, Oct. 1 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the People Place, 3402-27th Ave.
