Head up to Silver Star Mountain for Firefighters Ball
It’ll be a boot stomping good time when the Silver Star Volunteer Fire Department hosts its annual Firefighters Ball in support of some much needed new equipment.
Members of the volunteer department are hosting the dance, with local rock band The Goods, at the Chilcoot Conference Centre Ballroom at Silver Star Mountain Resort on Saturday.
Besides the live tunes, there will also be a live and “shoebox” auction, food, and a cash bar.
This year’s objective is to raise more than $5000, which will allow the department’s auxiliary to purchase much needed spinal transport equipment.
