Musaic to hold concerts in Summerland and Penticton

Performances to feature wide array of music

Musiaic will hold spring concerts in Penticton and Summerland at the end of April.

The concerts will be held April 27 at 2 p.m. Concordia Lutheran Church in Penticton and on April 28 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Summerland.

The performances include selections from the Vivaldi Gloria, Faure Requiem and favourites such as The Ave Verum Corpus, Gardiner’s Evening Hymn, Song for Athene and others, including a rendition of Loch Lomond.

The concerts are under the leadership of new director, Zach Goerlitz and are accompanied by piano, organ and a small ensemble of strings.

Tickets $20, $5 for students, available at Dragon’s Den in Penticton, Artisans of the Okanagan, in Summerland or at the door.
