Music is about sharing a passion of art and spreading a message.

For Caleb Hart and The Royal Youths, who play Record City Friday, Oct. 6, music is a medium to spread ideas of hope and community.

Now backed by The Royal Youths, Hart has toured around the world, from his native Trinidad and Tobago, to Australia, to the United States and everything in between, spreading his songs of joy along the way.

“He is a phenomenal performer and one of my closest musical collaboratives and travellers,” said Buckman Coe, who is also playing Friday night. “He really brings a lot of fire and energy to the show.”

Caleb Hart and The Royal Youths released their debut album OrigiNation late-September.

SMG Endeavors presents Caleb Hart and The Royal Youths with Buckman Coe at Record City Friday, Oct. 6. Tickets are available in advance for $10 from www.okomfest.com/smg-tickets. Show at 8 p.m. Visit Record City’s new website, www.recordcity.ca, for a list of upcoming concerts.
