How wonderful to have new buses added to Vernon Transit. Wonderful I suppose for those chosen few that have access to a bus. Here at the top of 43rd Avenue on Cascade, Wellington, 9th and Mutrie are many of us that would love the opportunity to use Vernon Transit but alas we are not considered worthy of such a basic service, a service taken for granted by many the world over …. an accessible bus route.
Please do not suggest we walk down 43rd to PV Road or even worse, walk up that steep incline. We pay our taxes and it is about time we were treated the same as other Vernon residents.
