Special Olympians need volunteer coaches

The Vernon Special Olympic Program urgently needs volunteers for bowling, curling and other sports programs.

Volunteering with Special Olympics is an opportunity for you to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and make a meaningful contribution to your community.

“We are looking for coaches, assistant coaches and regular volunteers to help run our programs,” said Britta Gretzmacher, with Special Olympics Vernon. “Coaches and volunteers play a critical role in the personal and athletic development of our athletes.”
