SilverStar Mountain Resort says on its Facebook page it’s 10 weeks (ish) until opening day for alpine skiing.
The Star got a pleasant surprise Monday as the resort posted a picture of snow on the hill.
Early bird season passes are available for sale and pick-up in Vernon at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery:
Monday, Sept. 25, 1-6:30 p.m.;
Tuesday, Sept. 26 to Saturday, Sept. 30, 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.;
Sunday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
