UPDATE: Highway 97 near Falkland back open

Highway 97 is back open, after an earlier vehicle incident closed a portion of the highway near Falkand.

ORIGINAL

A vehicle incident near Falkland has closed a portion of Highway 97.

Drive BC reported the incident before 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 5.

The road closed is a 13.1 km stretch of Hwy 97 between Wetaskiwin Rd and Back Rd, 10 km west of Falkland.

Delays are expected while an assessment is in progress.
