No vehicle could be found after a power pole was hit on Kalamalka Road Thursday night.
Coldstream firefighters were called to a single-vehicle MVI in the 10,000 block (between Coldstream Elementary and McClounie Road) just before 9 p.m.
“Upon arriving on scene there was no vehicle left at the scene,” said fire chief David Sturgeon.
RCMP searched the area but could not locate a vehicle.
Meanwhile BC Hydro crews spent most of the night restoring the situation.
“They sheared a pole so the hydro lines were down on the road,” said Sturgeon. “They had the road closed all night.”
