Forum cancelled
The federal candidates in Okanagan-Shuswap will have one less chance to spread their message.
The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has cancelled its all candidates breakfast forum Tuesday.
“We did not receive a sufficient amount of registrations,” said Kim Bourke, events co-ordinator.
“However, we are sending each candidate a package of questions in which they have agreed to return written answers which we will make available through our website and sent out to the media. The questions will be business-related.”
There is a forum at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre Tuesday at 7 p.m. and another forum at the Enderby Seniors Centre Wednesday at 7 p.m.
