Transition house seeks help
The Vernon Women’s Transition House Society is currently needing volunteers to assist with sorting and distributing donations.
Transition House is a shelter for women and children experiencing domestic abuse and the donations are used to assist women in setting up new households when they move out into the community.
The agency is also currently seeking donations of gently used household items and furniture for its clients as they transition back into the community.
