Vernon Racing Days dates set

A sports tradition returns for its 117th year.

Vernon Race Days will be held at Kin Race Track July 8, 15 and 29 and Aug. 5.

“The four days booked marks an increase in race dates from previous years when only two or three days of racing were held,” said Ed Woolley, with the Okanagan Equestrian Society.

“The society expects the track to open in April for training purposes. We invite anybody interested in watching the training to come any morning after the track has opened.”
