Fugitive located in Vernon
An appeal to the public for a parolee wanted out of Kelowna led to his arrest in Vernon Sunday.
Members from the Vernon RCMP located federal parolee Jared Heath Agar in downtown Vernon. He provided altered identification and gave officers a false name. He was arrested without incident and is now facing a number of new charges. Agar will be detained in custody pending a review of his parole status.
South East District RCMP would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in locating Agar.
