New inductees announced for Sports Hall of Fame

The Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame has some new members.

It was announced Tuesday that seven individuals will be inducted into the prestigious hall Nov. 2.

They are Ken Holland, Detroit Red Wings general manager; Brent Gilchrist who was on six NHL teams; Eddie Johnstone, a former NHLer; golfer Jackie Little; curlers Brad and Ryan Kuhn; and Keith Brewis, founder of the Vernon Kokanee Swim Club.

They will be recognized during a luncheon at the Schubert Centre. Tickets will go on sale soon.
