Water main break disrupts service in Vernon area
Due to an emergency water main break, operations have closed a main line on the water distribution system which may have caused a drop in pressure and possible service interruption in the Vernon area Tuesday.
The impacted area includes:
Black Rock Road to the 700 block of 35th Avenue
North of 39th Avenue
Stepping Stones
Blue Jay subdivision
North BX
Areas around Swan Lake
North of 35 Avenue in the BX area
Crews have completed the repair and are now refilling the water main. It is anticipated this process will be completed this evening.
