Deadline looming for Christmas food hampers
The deadline is Friday for Christmas food hamper applications in Enderby and Vernon.
“We want to be sure not to miss anyone who is in need of our assistance,” said David MacBain, Salvation Army community ministries director.
“Our interview hours in Vernon are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Applications are available at the food bank at 3303 32nd Ave. and at both of the Salvation Army thrift stores.”
Enderby food bank final interviews will also be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church.
