Vernon housing starts decline
Housing construction experienced some challenges last month.
There were 19 housing starts in Vernon in November compared to 26 during the same period in 2011.
Of the 19 starts, 15 were single-detached units and four were multiple units.
Year-to-date, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation reports there have been 150 total starts in Vernon.
That compares to 155 during the first 11 months of 2011.
