Coldstream man guilty of dangerous driving causing death

Supreme Court Justice Frank Cole delivered guilty verdicts against a Coldstream man Tuesday morning in Vernon in connection with the April 30, 2010 death of a Coldstream pedestrian.

Cole found Chase Donaldson, 29, guilty of dangerous driving causing the death of Kiera-Leigh Carlson, 22, as she walked to work on Aberdeen Road before 9 p.m. on the night in question. Cole also found Donaldson guilty of failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

Donaldson will be sentenced Friday at 10 a.m.
