Accident impacts Highway 97A

A two-vehicle accident shutdown Highway 97A near the Spallumcheen industrial park Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 7 a.m.

Some people were taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for some time as police investigated and crews cleaned up the scene.
