Load limits on route
Load restrictions take effect on Vernon roads Monday.
Pursuant to traffic bylaws, all roads will be limited to legal axle loading 70 per cent.
“Overweight permits will not be granted,” said James Rice, public works manager.
“All term overweight permits are invalid for the duration of the restrictions. The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.”
