North Okanagan Knights host Game 7 with Coyotes Sunday
The North Okanagan Knights are down to their last chance.
Up 3-1 in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League’s Okanagan/Shuswap Conference final, the Knights blew two opportunities to put the Osoyoos Coyotes away, and now they face a series-deciding Game 7 tonight (7:30) at Nor-Val Sports Centre.
Osoyoos recorded a pair of 3-1 wins in Games 5 and 6 – Thursday in Armstrong and Friday in Osoyoos – to force the final game.
Troy Maclise fired a natural hat trick for the Coyotes in Game 6 after the Knights’ David London had opened the scoring on a powerplay in the first period.
