Tragic end to search for missing Vernon woman

The search for a missing Vernon woman has ended tragically.

Quesnel RCMP have confirmed that the body of Susan Jane Durham, 59, was located on Dec. 2.

Durham was reported missing on Nov. 9 after she left a Quesnel hotel without her personal property.

RCMP located Durham and her vehicle after receiving a report of a white Ford Explorer parked on a rural property outside of Williams Lake, 75 minutes south of Quesnel.

No foul play is suspected and the B.C. Coroner Service is now handling this investigation.
