The Vernon RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teen.

Desmond Fisher, 14, went missing Jan. 2 at 1:45 p.m. when he walked out of an appointment.

"He has not been seen since," said Gord Molendyk, RCMP spokesperson.

It's possible that Fisher may have gone to the Lower Mainland but that has not been confirmed by the RCMP.

Desmond is described as being five-foot-four in height and 143 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

"We are concerned for his well being and are asking anyone who might know where Desmond can be located to call the nearest police department," said Molendyk.
