Vernon curling rink headed to the Brier

A Vernon rink will compete for the national curling championship.

The John Morris rink won the men's B.C. title 11-2 against Victoria's Jason Montgomery in Vancouver Sunday.

That means Morris, Jim Cotter, Tyrel Griffith and Rick Sawatsky have a berth in the Brier in Kamloops March 1 to 9.
