Emergency officials converged on the 27th Street 7-Eleven Wednesday morning after a car crashed through the front doors and went inside the store.

The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. and indications are the vehicle went over the concrete barriers in the parking lot, over the sidewalk and through the glass front doors. The vehicle came to rest against a shelf full of merchandise.

It's not known if anyone was injured or why the vehicle went into the 7-Eleven,

Last week, a similar situation occurred when a vehicle crashed through the doors of a computer store in Armstrong and caused extensive damage.
