Thieves targeting Lake Country vehicles

Lake Country RCMP are advising the public to protect their belongings following a notable increase in thefts and attempted thefts from motor vehicles.

Over the past couple of weeks, the RCMP have noticed an increase in the reports of theft from motor vehicles in the areas of Darlene Road, Hallam Road, Roberts Road, and Pretty Road to name a few.

The items stolen from vehicles include purses, wallets, credit cards, personal identification, keys, cash, clothing, sunglasses, and hand tools.

Anyone with any information, is asked to call the Lake Country RCMP detachment at 250-766-2288.
