Road shut down

Vernon residents are being advised of some upcoming changes in traffic patterns.

The City of Vernon reports that 43rd Avenue will be closed at Pleasant Valley Road starting Monday and continuing for about one week.

The full road closure is required to replace water, storm and sanitary sewer piping in intersection.

Traffic control will be in effect and detour routes posted in advance of the road closure.
