Oyama resident identified as accident victim

The victim of a fatal motor vehicle accident between Coldstream and Lake Country has been identified.

Brian Dolman, 64, of Oyama, was the driver and sole occupant of an SUV which was  travelling southbound on Highway 97 about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday when it was involved in a head-on collision with a northbound pickup truck near Westridge Road,

Dolman died at the scene.

The two men in the truck were both from Vernon.

The driver, 26, and passenger, 24, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
