Vernon accident closes eastbound lanes on Highway 6

A portion of the eastbound lanes of Highway 6 are closed in Vernon Thursday morning.

RCMP are currently investigating a single-vehicle accident that occurred during the early morning hours at Highway 6 and Waddington Drive.

Flagpersons are directing eastbound vehicles to use part of the westbound lanes.

It's unknown if those inside the vehicle were injured.
