People keep flocking to Armstrong.

A total of 18,971 people passed through the gates at the Interior Provincial Exhibition Thursday. That's on top of the 16,262 that showed up Wednesday.

Attendance is expected to surge Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"Friday is usually our third busiest day and Saturday and Sunday are our first and second busiest," said Bryan Burns, general manager.

In 2013, 149,782 people attended the annual celebration in Armstrong.
