The Trans Canada Highway from Salmon Arm to Sicamous is now open to single-lane traffic.

The highway had been closed due to a vehicle incident nine kilometres east of Sicamous.

Drive BC estimates Highway 1 will be open to two-lane traffic at 9 a.m..

But be careful, slippery sections are reported on the Trans-Canada from Sorrento to 11 kilometres west of Sicamous and  sections eight kilometres north of the junction with Highway 97A, in Enderby to the junction with Highway 1, in Salmon Arm.

More details will be provided as they become available.
