A popular activity in Vernon is being impacted by construction of a new arena
Kal Tire Place users are being advised that the upper concourse on the north end of the facility may undergo some periodic closures or modifications over the next 30 days due to expandion of the facility.

“Vernon Recreation Services will also be posting notices with daily updates at the site,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, with the City of Vernon.
“Employees at Kal Tire Place will do their best to keep the upper concourse open while the construction is going on. Please understand that safety is the city’s primary interest. We appreciate the public’s patience while upgrades are taking place.”
