I am a wife and mother of three grown children and have young granddaughter.

I earned a Bachelor of Physical Education degree in 1986. Since then I have dedicated my skills to people with special needs of nearly every form. I have worked for Interior Health, Canadian Mental Health, Brain Injury Societies, the school district and BC Ambulance.

I currently work as an education assistant and am president of CUPE 523. My union involvement began about 8 years ago and with it came a world of education on human rights, health and safety, indigenous history, and social issues. The more I learned, the more I felt compelled to use this new knowledge to work towards a better workplace and a fairer world for all of us.

I am running for MLA because my work in education and health care has shown me that the Liberal government is working for the rich and well connected, leaving little for the rest of us. It’s time for change. I am a strong leader with deep roots in BC and I can help bring change for a better BC.
