Vernon city hall wants its money.
Residents are reminded that payments for the first quarter utility bills, which were mailed in April, are due on or before May 12. Any unpaid balance after the due date will be charged 12 per cent interest per annum.
“The city offers MyCity, a free secure online service that allows homeowners and businesses to access information about their City of Vernon utility account 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, communications officer.
“Setting up a MyCity account is easy. All you need is your account number and access code located on your utility bill.”
