Motorists traveling throughout the northwest portion of Vernon may see crews repairing cracks on the road over the next few weeks.

Starting today (Tuesday, May 17), contractors will be crack sealing city roads in parts of the Heritage area, Turtle Mountain, Alexis Park, and along Old Kamloops Road.

The program is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

If you come across crews, please remember to slow down and obey all traffic control measures. If you have questions about the program, please feel free to contact the operations team through the city’s email web form here.

The city appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding as this work is being completed.
