Driver slams into parked car causing chain reaction crash in West Kelowna

The incident happened about 10 p.m. Thursday

Residents along Boucherie Road in West Kelowna were startled by a loud bang, Thursday night.

A truck reportedly crashed into four parked vehicles, on Boucherie near Sonoma Pines Drive, causing substantial damage.

A witness told Black Press Media, that the incident happened just before 10 p.m.

They said they came outside to see a silver truck had collided with a black vehicle, propelling it forward to hit another vehicle which then smashed into a red SUV sending it four feet down the road.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, however, no one was taken to hospital according to witnesses.

Those who live in the area said that there is limited parking for residents and that one man’s vehicle had been hit twice, while parked on the road, in the last year.

At least two vehicles from Thursday night’s collision will have to be towed.

More to come.
