Lumby chamber hosting forum
Lumby residents will have numerous opportunities to hear from those individuals wanting to form the next village council.
The Lumby Chamber of Commerce will hold two events for the mayor and councillor candidates Nov. 3 and 7.
“On Nov. 3, there will be a meet and greet breakfast with the mayoralty candidates,” said Stephanie Sexsmith, chamber manager.
“Chamber members only, please reserve your tickets for breakfast in advance $10. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.”
The public is invited to attend an all candidates forum Nov. 7 at the White Valley Community Centre. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The chamber is also sending out three questions a week to the candidates.
“This will allow our members a weekly chance to have their concerns and questions answered by the candidates currently running for mayor and council,” said Sexsmith.
