Adding a new funding partner to the Okanagan Film Commission has stalled slightly.
The Regional District of North Okanagan board was going to proceed with a bylaw Wednesday to add Spallumcheen to the OFC function, but township director Janice Brown asked for a deferral.
“I haven’t had a chance to take it to council,” she told the board.
“I support it but it must go through council.”
If Spallumcheen joins the function, it’s annual contribution would be around $2,000.
Currently, the only participants in the function are Armstrong, Coldstream and Vernon.
