Like other local communities, Enderby is struggling with wet conditions.

On Friday night, there was localized flooding on the west side of the communtiy due to high stream flows and debris blocking grates.

“The city reminds property owners that they are responsible for protecting their property from flooding,” said Tate Bengtson, chief administrative officer.

“We do provide free sand and sandbags outside of our public works yard to help property owners.”

Also on Friday night, a storm main failed on Mill Avenue, west of Highway 97A.

“Our crews temporarily restored the line last night and are cleaning up the debris on the road. A permanent repair will occur Monday or Tuesday,” said Bengtson.
