Forums ready for provincial election

All-candidate forums are scheduled for Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby and Vernon leading up to the May 9 vote

With provincial election drawing near, local residents will have a chance to hear from those seeking their support.

All-candidate forums are scheduled for Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby and Vernon leading up to the May 9 vote.

“These are good opportunities to come out and meet the candidates and make an informed decision,” said Stephanie Sexsmith, Lumby Chamber of Commerce executive director.

Shuswap

April 12 — The Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce will host a forum at 7 p.m. at the Seniors Activity Centre

April 25 — The Enderby Chamber of Commerce will hold a forum at the Enderby Seniors Complex, with doors open at 6 p.m.

Vernon-Monashee

April 19 — The Lumby Chamber of Commerce will host a forum at the White Valley Community Centre at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

May 3 — The Vernon Performing Arts Centre will hold a forum at 7 p.m.
