The Vernon School District is getting a cash infusion.
The provincial government is providing $1.6 million to the district for three different projects.
Of the funding, more than $1 million will go towards a new roof at Clarence Fulton Secondary School.
The district will also receive $420,041 to purchase textbooks, lab equipment and art supplies, while there will be a 76-passenger school bus thanks to a $130,629 grant.
